April 8, 2024: Since I live in the path of today’s total solar eclipse here in Eastern Canada, I decided to make some snacks to go along with the viewing.
I found my sister’s sugar cookie recipe that was always a favourite, and split it in two: one half dyed a pale yellow, the other with dark cocoa powder added to make them chocolate.
I had so much fun making these cookies. Can’t wait to compare them to the real thing later today. My eclipse glasses are ready!
