Every year I bake for Cheryl who celebrates her birthday on December 28. In past years I’ve made floral cakes and floral cupcakes for her love of flowers and gardening. I’ve also done succulent cupcakes. One year I did cupcakes that had a quilting theme.
This year we honoured Cheryl’s Ukrainian roots. The cake was inspired by traditional floral crowns worn during festive and cultural celebrations. And birthdays too, perhaps. Happy birthday Cheryl!
